Yes, someone over the age of 18 should be there to inspect, count, and sign for the equipment delivery and pick up. This is a double check measure to ensure the ReTotes boxes were delivered and picked up in the condition promised. If you have an extenuating circumstance, please give us a call and we will try our best to accommodate you.

ReTotes provides you with the moving boxes and dollies to make the move easier for you and any movers you hire. Our ReTotes have ergonomic handles (comfortable to carry); they nest and stack perfectly on top of each other (space saving); and a dolly to wheel your ReTotes around, minimizing heavy lifting (back saving).

Although used moving boxes are a more sustainable solution than buying new, they're still not a good idea. Cardboard boxes attract dirt, bacteria, chemicals, pet dander, and bed bugs. Used cardboard boxes are soft and retain moisture, making them less durable, easy to crush, and difficult to protect your valuables. It’s also a hassle to collect different sized boxes from various locations to try to fit them together in your car. You would still have to get tape and assemble them after you finish collecting them. After your move, the boxes would also need to be broken down and disposed of. However, ReTotes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each use, and the drop off and pick up is convenient. There is no assembly required - saving you time, energy, and money. Also, ReTotes are durable and water/dust resistant so they won’t suffer from the degradation experienced by withering cardboard.

ReTotes packages include the ReTotes, dollies, labels, and zip ties. Please use the labels to categorize your ReTotes for an organized move. The ReTotes have attached interlocking lids and zip ties are included for extra security. Please do not use tape or stickers on the ReTotes (may result in a cleaning fee). Moving blankets and bubble wrap rolls are available for an additional charge.

A 2-week rental is perfect for most residential clients to pack, move and unpack. ReTote’s packages are priced for reduced rates for additional weeks of rental. When you place your order, you can select a rental period anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks. If you are doing a home remodel or putting your belongings into storage for a longer period, we offer discounted monthly pricing (if booked and paid for in advance) depending on availability.

Please contact us directly to arrange a different delivery or pick up date and/or time. We will make every effort to reschedule your order based on availability and scheduling. We need no less than 72 hours to accommodate your change, otherwise a change fee may apply.

We understand moving plans can change for any number of reasons. If you would like to cancel an order, it must be done 48 hours before your scheduled delivery date to receive a full refund. If an order cancellation is made 24 hours before the delivery, there is a 30% restocking fee. If an order is canceled on the date of delivery, there is a restocking charge of 60%.

There is no delivery or pick up fee within the service area.

PayPal and all major credit cards (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover) are accepted and required to finalize your reservation.

Please contact us directly to arrange a re-delivery. If ordering additional ReTotes a la carte, there is a re-delivery minimum of 5 ReTotes at $5 each and a $30 delivery fee. Any extra ReTotes delivered will be picked up at the same time and location of your original order.

ReTotes extensions will be approved based on availability and scheduling. Please contact us no less than 5 days before your pickup date, and we will make every effort to extend your rental period.

We realize that accidents happen, but if the ReTote or dolly is damaged there is a $60 replacement fee per ReTote and $65 for each dolly.

ReTotes reusable plastic moving boxes are 23” x 16” x 14”. Think of each ReTote as a 40-50 pound suitcase, so for moving purposes it’s the perfect size for household items, clothing, shoes, books, kitchen gadgets, and dishes.

An empty ReTote is roughly 7 pounds, and we recommend filling them no more than 40-50 pounds each for safe lifting. ReTotes can be stacked 5 at a time with a maximum total weight of 250 pounds to safely roll in a dolly. Think of each ReTote like a 40-50-pound suitcase.

ReTotes boxes are easy to carry and the dollies provided make transporting 5+ ReTotes at a time seem effortless. Unlike carrying cardboard boxes that are impossible to find a good grip on, ReTotes are constructed with ergonomic built-in handles which make them easy to grab and lift. At the end of their life cycle ReTotes are recycled to be made into other post-consumer recycled goods, completely avoiding a trip to the landfill. Additionally, ReTotes stack perfectly on top of one another eliminating the need to play Moving Truck Tetris. This reduces gasoline, emissions, and labor costs. The strong walls make the ReTotes crushproof and the strong base can hold up to 50 pounds - allowing you to pack more into each ReTote, saving you money on additional boxes and supplies. The attached interlocking lids provide immediate closure totally removing the need for tape.
